It’s crazy out here in Sin City, with all its hotel resorts, adult entertainment and gambling. Outrageous stuff happens every time here in Vegas. But if you want to experience a different kind of wild, why don’t you get yourself some black leather, rent a motorcycle, and realize those biker dreams.
It can all happen here. Getting wild, making a dream a reality, or just simply taking a break. Motorcycle rentals in Viva Las Vegas can make all that happen. They are an alternative to a great new experience out here in The Meadows. Take your pick from a variety of rides ranging from ATVs, Dirt bikes, Scooters, Harley Davidson to Honda Trikes, all of which provide the optimum motorcycle adventure experience this side of the southwest.
Revive your dreams alone or with fellow road bike aficionados. Or perhaps ride different bike models for one adventure to the next. You can also take the planned routes or even get spontaneous and follow wherever that desert road will take you! You may ride bikes on weekends or make the dream last longer by leasing motorcycle rentals in Las Vegas on weekly terms. Whatever the ride may be or how long it is going to take, the results are the same: exploring Las Vegas on a motorcycle rental will introduce you to another side of the city.
For starters, blast some biker music to get the feel going. Nazareth’s Hair of the Dog,George Thorogood & the Destroyers, Bad to The Bone, and last but certainly not the least is the proverbial biker anthem of Steppenwolf’s Born to Be Wild will just do the trick.
Then as you cruise past the celebrated Las Vegas Strip, give yourself one a last look at this urban jungle. Now get ready to discover the rugged terrains of the Valley of Fire, Zion National Park, Antelope Canyon, Mt. Charleston, the Red Rock Canyon, the mysterious Area 51, the Mojave Desert, and the Hoover Dam. And if that’s not enough you can even avail of rental packages that allow you to go as far Salt Lake City or Vancouver, Canada. Now, ride child ride. That’s just how it’s going to be on a motorcycle rental in Las Vegas.
And do you know what could really make that road experience a bona fide one of its kind? Going out in style on a heavyweight ride. And what better way to live this out loud than torquing up on a Harley rental down the Las Vegas road. Now, that would just look good with the black leather you’re suited up with now, wouldn’t it? Harley rentals in Vegas offer most of the 2008 motorcycles from each model family. All bikes are equipped with windshields, crash & sissy bars and saddle bags. Rentals even include 24- hour assistance. So you can be assured that while your having the time of your life, someone’s out there looking out for your safety 24/7.
Now you know. So the next time you’re in Las Vegas, you don’t go just for the gambling and all that adult entertainment alone. By then, you gotta go there for the rides, too. Ride on,the Las Vegas terrain says. So, what’s it going to be?

Who Needs Custom Motorcycle Accessories Insurance
When we buy a car we never doubt that we need to have car insurance by law, we also know we need a drivers license before we can drive that car and of all these facts we are aware even before we are at the designated age to drive. When it comes to a drivers license for a motorcycle or to custom motorcycle insurance most of us have no idea of what we need. (http://www.idealhere.com/wholesale-Motorcycle-Accessories_c18)
More confusing terms
When you ask a big man in a leather jacket and a small boy about their bikes they will probably revere to something completely different. The first motorcycles built where just simple variations on a bicycle that were popular at that time, and when they were first build it was a very logical step to call them motorbike. When the motorbike grew up, and evolved it was called more often a motorcycle and in America this term is now used the most often. In other parts of the world the term motorbike is still more popular. And even in America the term bike is still used for a motorcycle. There is one big difference between the bicycle and the motorcycle and that is that you need a custom motorcycle insurance before you can ride your motorcycle and you do not need this for your bicycle.
Not required but still a good idea
In some states a custom motorcycle insurance is not required but even when this is the case it is still is a good idea to get some of the custom motorcycle insurance for your own protection. If you get hit by someone without insurance your own insurance will cover much of the damage. And even when your bike get destroyed, your custom motorcycle insurance will work to replace your bike. So you will notice that it is not just for your piece of mind to get good custom motorcycle insurance. It is good to know that when something happens the personal damage will be less because you are covered.
Not just for yourself ? You can be the safest rider in the world but bad things still happen and if you have a good custom motorcycle insurance it can help you take care of the people you might have injured in that split second the accident occurred. It can help you to avoid getting broke over that stupid accident. If you are a responsible driver you do not just get coverage for yourself but also to cover others in case you are the cause of the accident.
You just never know what can happen and that is why custom motorcycle insurance is the best thing you can get to be assured that you are ready for every situation you will come across.
Where to get motorcycle insurance?
Most major insurance companies also have bike insurance and most of the time the best you can do is go to the company were your car and other vehicles are also insured this way you can get the best insurance for the lowest price. (http://www.idealhere.com/wholesale-Motorcycle-Parts_c16)

MOTORCYCLE LIGHT BULBS
Motorcycles, since they first hit the roads, have won the hearts of the youth and the old alike. The older generation wants to get the feel of the young by zooming in the streets at breath-taking speeds, while the youth finds it as the only means of transport that is both, economical and stylish. Motorcycles have undergone rapid changes over the years. There are huge differences between the motorcycles of today and those that were manufactured some four decades ago. While the older motorcycles were bulky, the modern day’s motorcycles are much more compact and stylish.
One such feature that is indicative of rapid transformation is the motorcycle headlight. While the motorcycles of the 1970’s had 12 volts systems, the motorcycles of 1980’s turned to 6 volts system. It is to be noted that 12 volts system uses 6 cells while the 6 volts system uses 3 cells. Going back into the time when motorcycles were just introduced, it was acetylene gas that powered the motorcycles headlights. It was only after the 1920’s that the bulbs powered by electricity came into prominence. However the halogen bulbs became popular only in the 1980’s. Then the filament-type bulbs became popular. In this case, the filament glows after electricity passes through it heating it to a very high temperature. Today the advanced HID bulbs are being used in select motorcycles. LED lights too are being fitted as a motorcycle light bulbs for usages such as the parking lights, brake lights, and turn signals.
Various shapes and sizes of the motorcycle light bulbs are available in the market. The Half Moon Billet Headlight has many takers in the biking community. With its half moon shaped housing and a very clear bottom lens, it suits the Harley-Davidson the most. Along with the Half Moon Billet Headlight one also needs to have a Billet Half Moon Headlamp and an installation kit.
If it is the high intensity headlight that you are looking for, then you must go for the Halogen Silver Bullets driving lights. These filament-type lights come with a 20 watt halogen bulb made of quartz. The unique advantage that this Halogen Silver Bullets driving lights offer is that they can easily be made to change their colour by replacing one lens by the other. Generally they come with lenses of colours clear, amber and red. Then there is a Stretched Bucket Headlight. They come with two options: Flamed and Smooth. Here too the option of attaching the lens with the bucket housing is available. To have these as the motorcycle headlights, one has to buy the lamp and the bucket separately. While the buckets cost around 0-0, the prices of the headlight hovers around . The next option for headlights can be the Russ Wernimont design headlights. One of the famous headlights that come under this type is the Iron Light-Maltese Cross Headlight. The speciality of these headlights is that it is a 3D headlight which comes with a plug, chrome aluminium housing, and a halogen bulb, and the wire harness. Then there is the Joker series 2000 Rectangular Billet Headlight. The market cost of this product is somewhere around 0.
If you own a Harley-Davidson or a Yamaha Road Stars then there is something that can grab your attention at once. It is the high-performance High Intensity Discharge (HID) bulbs, with longer life and much more intense lights that any other halogen lights. They use up only half the power consumed by halogen bulbs whereas their life-span is ten times that of halogen bulbs. These HID lights not only look very stylish but they also give you a wider and a longer field of vision, thereby reducing chances of accidents at night.
So the long list of motorcycle head lists refuses to end. Go grab the one suits your style the most!
Motorcycle Saddlebags History
Saddlebags are most commonly used to carry luggage on a motorcycle. There are 2 major kinds of motorcycle saddlebags. Throw over saddlebags and hard mount saddlebags. The concept of hard mount saddlebags originated from throw over saddlebags which were used in early 1950 for the first time.
As the motorcycle industry experienced a big boom in 1960 especially after the Vietnam War the motorcycle luggage also evolved. As major motorcycle companies launched bigger and better motorcycle people started traveling farther on there motorcycles. Many riders formed groups and rode cross country and from city to city. The throw over style of saddlebags was soon replaced by a better and more reliable way of carrying luggage.
A group of riders drilled several holes in the back fender of their motorcycles in order to permanently bolt the saddlebags to the motorcycle. This permanent installation resulted in the saddlebags being more reliable and sturdy. This step also contributed towards the aesthetic appeal of the motorcycle. The trend soon gained popularity amongst the riders.
Motorcycle companies like Indian Motorcycle Company and Harley Davidson Motorcycle Company noticed this trend and soon started producing motorcycles with struts. The struts enabled motorcycle riders to bolt the motorcycle saddlebags without making any permanent changes to the motorcycle such as drilling holes in the back fender. Later the same strut enables other accessories to be securely mounted on a motorcycle such as motorcycle carrier and sissy bars.
As the Asian motorcycle manufacturers such as Kawasaki, Honda and Yamaha made their way into North American market they also made sure that the riders get enough room for the luggage. Yamaha motorcycles are a classic example of this as they manufacture most of their bikes with most room for the saddlebags. They also make sure that the turn signal does not interfere with the saddlebags, a common problem with smaller motorcycles.
In 1980 the motorcycle companies realized that most 1000 cc and above motorcycles are used for long rides. To further add value to their motorcycles they started selling motorcycles with fiber glass saddlebags. These motorcycles did well as most of these came with the motorcycle specific luggage. This also saved the motorcycle rider a lot of time and headache.
Despite the popularity of factory installed saddlebags motorcycle riders still prefer leather saddlebags in most cases. This is due to the fact that motorcycles leather saddlebags can be customized to a greater degree as opposed to motorcycle specific fiber glass bags.
Most early motorcycle saddlebag companies used studs, spots and conchs to decorate the saddlebags. Recently the more advanced motorcycle saddlebag companies have started manufacturing and offering saddlebags that are not only motorcycle specific but also match the color of the motorcycle. Another approach is to design the leather motorcycle saddle bags in such a way that it blends in with the overall design of the motorcycle. These advancements have resulted in more and more people willing to install saddlebags on their motorcycles.
How to Decide Between Buying a New Motorcycle or a Used Motorcycle
There are people who are constantly on the road on their motorcycles. Some people love riding their motorcycles because of the adrenaline rush they get from riding. Some people love being on their motorcycles because of the wind around them. Some people enjoy riding their motorcycles because of the speed they can achieve; all three of these things are visible to those on the outside looking in. What many people do not see, however, is the amount of stress that came from the decisions that lead to them getting the motorcycles in the first place. Because of the multiple ways to purchase motorcycles, it can be a tough decision. There are a lot of factors that can come into play when deciding whether to purchase used motorcycles or brand new motorcycles. Each type of purchase has a positive and negative side; knowing exactly what you want can help you compare the two options to make the best decision for you. There are simple ways to determine how to decide between buying a new motorcycle or buying a used motorcycle.
How High of a Payment Can you Afford?
The first thing that should determine your decision in this process is trying to budget to understand how much you would like to pay per month, and how much you are willing and able to pay per month. Brand new motorcycles are obviously more expensive than used motorcycles. By budgeting yourself out, you may help yourself realize that new motorcycles are too expensive for your budgets, or that you may actually be able to afford a new motorcycle. Either way, knowing your budget will help to possibly make the decision quick and easy.
Do you Want Old or New?
Some people enjoy the look, ride, and feel of the older style motorcycles. Other people enjoy the way that brand new motorcycles feel. If you are someone who prefers an older style of motorcycle, you may want to consider used motorcycles. While older style motorcycles are still created brand new, you can have the authentic feel with a cheaper used motorcycle. If you are a fan of the newer modern styles, it is possible to find used cars that are still relatively new, but it can be more of the look and style that you are going for if you choose a brand new motorcycle.
What do you Want in a Motorcycle?
Motorcycles, much like cars, are constantly improving. New technology is constantly raising the bar in terms of motorcycles. If you are someone who is into the new technology and wants all of the bells and whistles possible, you are looking at a new motorcycle. If you do not need all of these things, you may be satisfied with used motorcycles. By figuring out exactly what you want in a motorcycle, you may be able to figure out if you want to go with new or used motorcycles.

Anwendung: Motorcycle fairings for Triumph: British-based motorcycle manufacturer Triumph has chosen BASF’s Terblend N for the fairing panels on its new Daytona 675 urban sports bike. Triumph wanted not only to build the most exciting and useable sports bike that’s ever left their Hinckley factory, but also to steal the crown for the most beautiful sports bike in the market. The reaction from the motor cycling press suggests that they may have succeeded. Bike magazine described the new Daytona 675 as “staggeringly beautiful”. The fairing panels are injection moulded inhouse by Triumph Motorcycles in Leicestershire, using BASF’s Terblend N supplied by Ultrapolymers. Terblend N belongs to the PlasticsPlus? line of BASF’s styrenics. http://www.idealhere.com/wholesale-Windshield_c350
Lower density reduces weight
Weight is a very important factor on modern sports bikes. Terblend N is much tougher than ABS, and has a lower density than the polycarbonate blends used in similar applications, enabling Triumph to produce thinner, lighter panels that help to reduce the overall weight of the bike. The Daytona 675 weighs 165kg, and reviewers have said that it feels even lighter. The polyamide component in Terblend N improves heat resistance. Performance up to about 110°C is mainly determined by the content of amorphous ABS, but beyond this the semi-crystalline polyamide takes over, allowing finished parts to retain their shape at up to about 160°C. Terblend N’s higher softening point has allowed the designers to position the fairing panels close to the engine and exhaust system. This, together with Triumph’s three-cylinder engine, has helped to achieve a very narrow front aspect to the bike.

Motorcycle Windshields: Advantages and Disadvantages
Motorcycle windshields are common on touring motorcycles. They can be added to just about any other type of motorcycle. Just like everything else, though, motorcycle windshields have advantages and disadvantages.
One advantage to having motorcycle windshields is that it blocks the wind and makes for a better and more comfortable ride. Having windshields there to block bugs flying at the face and rocks being thrown from the vehicles in front is definitely an advantage. No one wants to drive down the highway and suddenly taste a bug or see one spat on your cheek just below your eye. Windshields definitely offer the advantage of better obstacle blockage.
A disadvantage would be visibility. While it is great to have something to block things flying at your face, it isn’t so great when all that builds up on motorcycle windshields and blocks visibility. You can’t drive safely if you can’t see where you are going.
Another advantage is the aerodynamics of motorcycle windshields. They allow the air to flow evenly up and over the motorcycle. Having better aerodynamics with windshields can improve gas mileage and with the gas prices sky rocketing, any amount saved in gas is always an advantage.
A disadvantage would be the glare given off by motorcycle windshields. Not all windshields give off a glare, but when they do, they can be blinding. It is hard to drive when you are being blinded by the glare, likewise, it is hard for other drivers to drive with a glare.
Another disadvantage is the weather. In some weather, it is better to see without motorcycle windshields then it is to see with them. They can make it hard to see in foggy or wet weather. Just like with glasses, windshields can fog up, attract moisture and have ice. Any of these conditions can make it difficult for visibility.
If you get the wrong size it could definitely affect visibility. Trying to look over the windshield or under the top of the windshield can be annoying and dangerous. If you don’t look entirely through or entirely above your motorcycle windshields, you could have problems with blind spots due to the line in your line of vision.
One consideration that would give the best of both worlds would be removable motorcycle windshields. This would allow you to place it on the motorcycle when going on long trips, and remove it on bad weather days, or when visibility is poor to begin with. It can add to the aerodynamics when you ride in conditions that would affect the mileage and speed, such as uphill and curving roads. Also you may consider having the windshield tinted to reduce glare and increase visibility. Be careful how tinted you have the windshield though, because in dark conditions, it may make it hard to see if they are too dark. Glasses have anti fog coating and you can get the same coating for your motorcycle windshields.
The Benefits Of A Leather Motorcycle Jacket
A leather motorcycle jacket will be one of the most important investments that you make after getting your motorcycle. The advantages and benefits of getting the right leathers will be invaluable when you begin riding your bike on a regular basis. Leathers are made specific for riders and have special features and options that not only make the jackets fashionable, but also help to keep you safe when you are riding.
Leathers are made with high grade, heavy duty leather and withstand rigorous wear. They take an enormous amount of abuse and continue to look and feel comfortable. The leathers that you select will last you for several years and will maintain their shape and comfort for the duration of the time that you own them.
Most of the coats are made with several pockets both on the interior and outside sides of the jacket. The pockets all have zippers that protect the items that are inside the pockets. Many of the coats are treated with waterproofing which adds an extra layer of protection to important items that you may be carrying.
When wearing leathers a person does not have to worry about getting wet in rainy weather. Besides being waterproof, the leathers also have collars designed to protect the back of the neck when you are sitting on the bike. Most of the jackets are designed with an extra panel that adds an extra layer of protection for the chest when riding. The design keeps cold air and water from getting into the jacket when you are riding.
One of the greatest benefits of the jackets is their ability to protect the rider in case of an accident. If you are riding your bike each day to work and are on the freeway, there is a possibility that you may get hit by a car. A person who is not wearing a motor cycle jacket has little protection from the pavement when they hit the ground.
The motorcycle jacket protects the skin from road burn. It also keeps debris from getting through the leather to the skin. This extra layer of protection can be important if you are on an asphalt road that may be slick.
The leathers are made in styles and designs that make them appropriate for wear in most circumstances. Many people select a motorcycle jacket for their informal wardrobe because they provide warmth and protection against the wind and rain. In addition, the leathers are available in colors that give a person many choices when selecting the jacket that is best for them.
